Install a Replacement Shopfront Threshold

Brief

To design, supply and install a long term solution for a replacement threshold to a shopfront entrance.

In addition the threshold had to be strong enough in structure to withstand twice weekly deliveries via a pallet truck.

We fabricated a bespoke folded plate from 3mm thick brushed stainless steel in keeping with the appearance of the shopfront.

We also added multiple folds to the metalworks with different angles to accommodate the levels of the shop floor and falling pavement outside.

A new threshold strong enough to support regular and heavy traffic as well as a unique solution for an irregular shop floor and pavement.
