Charity Engagement – Regenerate

Pulse is a family-run business. We specialise in the design, delivery and maintenance of engaging environments for some of the UK’s leading brands.

Regenerate is a youth and community charity. They work with young people and their families in Roehampton, SW London – one of the biggest housing estates in Europe – helping to transform their community from the inside out.

Why It Matters To Us

We’re convinced that places make a difference to people. So we believe that investment in places can change the lives of whole communities for the better. And that’s why we’re proud to support the work of Regenerate.

Regenerate – London to Africa

Regenerate is 18 years old this year. To mark the occasion they wanted to do something spectacular to highlight the link between their London base and their partnership with Africa.

Over the years they’ve often sent young people from their mentoring schemes on life-changing trips. They’ve built homes and schools, started social enterprises, and established feeding programmes in African townships.

To demonstrate that nothing is impossible for anyone in their community they decided to cycle to Africa. Not with a huge professional team. Just them and their bikes with some spare tyres, cycle helmets and the spirit to succeed. It’s their biggest and most ambitious fundraiser yet and we’re delighted to have sponsored them.

Find out more about this fundraiser JustGiving – London to Africa or order lunch from The Feel Good Bakery, their social enterprise in SW London.

A small group of young people from the Roehampton estates along with a select bunch of Regenerate volunteers and supporters will embark on a life-changing adventure together to raise lots of money to support young people here in London as together we seek to make a difference in the world. As the ride is over 1300 miles, some will do it as part of a relay and some will be attempting to do it all! Our first leg began on April 14th … you can follow the journey with us on Twitter at @RegenerateUK
